Summary: The IT Programme Test Manager is responsible for leading and managing testing activities for the deployment and integration of new platforms, including Service Now and Snow, within the Compass programme. This role involves developing test strategies, coordinating testing efforts, and ensuring that the platform meets business requirements and quality standards. The Test Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders and external suppliers to facilitate successful implementation. The position requires a strong background in large IT transformation projects and effective stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive test strategy and plan for the new platform implementation.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop detailed test cases.
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of all testing activities, including UAT.
- Manage the defect lifecycle and conduct root cause analysis of defects.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with testing activities.
- Implement automated testing frameworks where applicable.
- Maintain comprehensive testing documentation and generate detailed test status reports.
Key Skills:
- Proven strong Stakeholder Management experience.
- Successful experience of UAT and End to End Testing.
- Understanding of agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery life cycles.
- Experience of Risk Management and understanding of Risk Based Testing.
- Experience in Service Now or equivalent environment and SNOW.
