Summary: Our client is looking for a Hydraulic Engineer to work on clean and wastewater projects within the water industry. This contract role requires significant experience in civil engineering and hydraulic systems, with responsibilities including design and analysis of hydraulic flow and collaboration with various stakeholders. The position offers remote/hybrid working arrangements with occasional site visits. Candidates should have a strong background in civil and hydraulic engineering, particularly with HADES software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyse gravity hydraulic flow in clean and wastewater treatment works
- Utilise HADES software for modelling and analysis
- Provide design input across multiple treatment sites independently
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders effectively
- Work on AMP8 Framework projects for United Utilities, Severn Trent Water, and Wessex Water
Key Skills:
- Experience in civil/water engineering with strong knowledge of gravity hydraulic flow
- Proficiency with HADES software
- Understanding of Water Frameworks (AMP projects preferred)
- Experience in wastewater treatment works (WwTW) and water treatment works (WTW)
- Strong communication skills for liaison with various teams and stakeholders
