Summary: The HW Device Test Engineer role involves testing standard and custom products and hardware to evaluate their performance and reliability within a luxury automotive OEM. The position requires preparation of test facilities, data collection, and analysis to support engineering decisions. The role is hybrid, based in Gaydon, and is offered on an 11-month initial contract. Candidates must have valid eligibility to work in the UK and travel within the EU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for testing standard and/or custom products, devices, and/or hardware to assess their performance and reliability.
- Complete full preparation of test facility and/or test parts to enable effective and timely data delivery.
- Provide technical advice and guidance on collection and measurement of data.
- Collate, manipulate, and interpret data to inform engineering decisions.
- Oversee commissioning and acceptance testing of measurement equipment.
Key Skills:
- Planning, completing, and reporting full vehicle Durability and Robustness Testing.
- Technical expertise and experience of test facility and test vehicle preparation.
- Experienced with data acquisition and control systems.
- Data analysis and reporting of test data.
- Natural problem-solver with a structured approach to problem solving in a technical environment.

Job Description As HW Device Test Engineer, your main responsibilities are:
- Responsible for testing standard and/or custom products, devices, and/or hardware to assess their performance and reliability
- Complete full preparation of test facility and/or test parts to enable effective and timely data delivery.
- Provide technical advice and guidance on collection and measurement of data.
- To collate, manipulate and interpret data which will be used to inform engineering decisions.
