Summary: The HV Project Manager role at NRL involves overseeing the inspection and maintenance of high voltage equipment, primarily based in Nursling, Southampton. Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to arrange suitable dates for the inspection and maintenance of equipment.
  • Generate and verify reports after inspections and maintenance.
  • Provide quotes and reminders for ongoing works.
  • Manage a team of 2 jointers and a technical administrator.
  • Oversee oil store management (33,000 liters).
  • Ensure regular maintenance of HV equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Hiring manager and one of the SAPs, admin.
  • Agree on suitable dates with clients for site visits and understand inspection and maintenance requirements.
  • Generate reports for Hiring manager’s review and verification, and send them to clients.
  • Manage invoicing and ensure monthly financial targets are met.

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of HV equipment.
  • HV experience (private networks; no DNO required).
  • Proficient with Excel and databases.
  • Ability to quickly pick up processes.
  • Financial management skills.
  • Experience in oil store management.
  • SAP experience is desirable.
