Summary: The Human Resources Manager (Maternity Cover, 12 months) at Kelly will collaborate with business leaders in the UK and Ireland to enhance people management capabilities and align HR strategies with organizational goals. This role involves monitoring HR policies, providing employee relations support, overseeing payroll, and leading HR initiatives. The position emphasizes inclusion, collaboration, and personal growth within a dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will also coach the UK HR team and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and review HR policies and processes for compliance with employment law.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues including investigations and performance management.
- Support organizational changes involving consultation and potential redundancies.
- Utilize HRMI to identify trends and propose interventions.
- Oversee timely delivery of monthly salaried payroll and administration of pensions and benefits.
- Stay updated on legislation changes affecting the business.
- Participate in pay and reward discussions and external salary benchmarking.
- Lead key HR initiatives to support strategic objectives.
- Coach and develop the UK HR team while providing daily support.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland employment and payroll legislation.
- Generalist HR experience in advisory or management roles.
- Experience with employee relations casework, including restructures and TUPE.
- Proven ability to mentor and coach managers in various work settings.
- Desirable experience overseeing payroll functions.
- Desirable experience in remote HR functions.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high ER case loads.
- Self-efficient and capable of working autonomously.
- CIPD Level 5 Qualification in Human Resources Management is desirable.
