Summary: The HR Generalist role in Aberdeen involves providing expert advice on employee relations and acting as a contact for employee queries. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist advice to management and employees on collective employee relations issues.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding policies and procedures.
- Review and update existing employee relations policies/procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices.
- Develop new policies as needed, ensuring alignment with the client’s values.
- Collaborate with PO network locally and globally to build awareness of policies and pending legislation.
- Support in the co-ordination of the UK Works Council to drive employee engagement.
- Keep abreast of changes in UK employment law and update the UK PO network.
- Handle other ad-hoc projects or tasks as needed.
Key Skills:
- Strong HR knowledge (CIPD qualification or equivalent).
- Strong competence in Employee Relations.
- Experience in supporting offshore/operational teams in addition to onshore teams.
- Negotiation and diplomacy skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to interact and connect in a global matrix organization.
