Summary: The HR Director role is a fixed-term contract for six months, focused on leading the European HR team within a leading organization. The position requires an innovative HR leader who can align HR strategies with business priorities and foster a high-performance culture. The successful candidate will oversee complex employee relations, lead HR projects, and drive talent management initiatives. This role is based on-site in Worthing, England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align HR strategies with business priorities, providing senior business partner support to the leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with the leadership team, acting as a confident mentor and coach.
  • Oversee complex Employee Relations issues, offering strategic guidance to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Lead large-scale HR projects, supporting M&A activity, and driving operational efficiency and organisational effectiveness.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management and succession planning processes.
  • Review and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Leverage data to assess and optimise HR programmes, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee experience and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive HR experience with both UK and international HR experience.
  • Strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to analyse data and develop effective solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, hiring, and employee development.
  • Conflict resolution skills with the ability to mediate and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Deep understanding of organisational goals and how HR can support them.
  • Proficiency in a second European language is an advantage.
  • MCIPD (L7 CIPD) is preferred.

Salary (Rate): £120,000.00
