Summary: The Human Factors Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing a Human Performance programme within CommOps, focusing on safety and engagement. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the programme is innovative and impactful. The specialist will also lead training initiatives and improve existing documentation and training processes. The position is hybrid, requiring three days on-site in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Benchmark and research best practices for Human Performance programme design and implementation.
  • Design and deliver the Human Performance approach/programme for CommOps.
  • Create and revise Human Performance documentation to meet standards.
  • Review and improve current Human Performance training and induction processes.
  • Design and deliver an engagement plan to launch the Human Performance programme.
  • Ensure consistent procedural use and adherence across CommOps in line with project standards.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in designing and developing Human Performance programmes.
  • Experience working on an operational Nuclear Power Station.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Growth mindset.
