Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and ensure the implementation of the HSE Management System in compliance with international standards (ISO 14001 / 45001, others).
  • Ensure that all site activities conducted by Saipem adhere to HSE Standards.
  • Implement and comply with HSE plans and procedures.
  • Act as HSE focal point for site/field level work.
  • Develop an emergency response plan for identified potential events.
  • Establish an HSE monitoring and audit program.
  • Promote environmental and safety awareness among the workforce and hold regular site meetings.
  • Provide HSE support and advice to project/site management.
  • Interface with Clients and Authorities.
  • Staff and manage the Field HSE team.
  • Ensure development of Waste/Chemical/Water Management Plans and monitor implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with noise regulations requirements.
  • Monitor protection of air quality within project activities.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in HSE management within construction and installation projects.
  • Knowledge of international HSE standards (ISO 14001 / 45001).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement HSE plans and procedures.
  • Experience in emergency response planning.
  • Ability to conduct audits and monitoring programs.

The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced HSE Field Manager to join a Construction and Installation specialist for a carbon capture pipeline project in North Wales.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Develop and ensure the implementation of the HSE Management System in compliance with the international standards (ISO 14001 / 45001, others)
  • Ensure that all sites' activities carried out by Saipem are conducted in strict accordance with Saipem HSE Standards
  • Ensure the implementation and compliance with the HSE plans and procedures
  • Act as HSE focal point for the work developed at site / field level
  • Develop an emergency response plan for any identified potential event
  • Establish an HSE monitoring and audit program
  • Promote environmental and safety awareness among the workforce and hold regular site meetings with supervisors, workers, sub-contractors
  • Provide HSE support and advice to the project/site management
  • Interface with Clients and Authorities
  • Staff and manage the Field HSE team
  • Ensure the development of Waste/Chemical/Water Management Plans, obtain relevant permits from authorities and monitor implementation
  • Ensure compliance with noise regulations requirements
  • Ensure and monitor protection of air quality within the project activities
