Summary: The HR Business Partner role at Legal & General involves collaborating with the HR Function to design and implement people solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness and culture. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. The role is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract based in London. The successful candidate will contribute to various HR initiatives, including employee engagement and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance and cost-effective HR solutions on employee engagement, re-organisations, talent management, and performance management.
  • Supporting the annual cycle of people activity, including pay review and employee Voice Survey.
  • Collaborating with Senior HRBPs and HRD to analyze and interpret people-related MI for business planning.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing reward strategies for business areas.
  • Understanding the Employee Relations climate and working with relevant teams to promote partnership benefits.
  • Collaborating with other HR teams on projects to ensure effective oversight of HR risk and practices.
  • Ensuring job descriptions include appropriate Consumer Duty accountabilities.
  • Designing performance management and reward mechanisms that treat customers fairly.

Key Skills:

  • Experience and understanding of employment law and HR policies.
  • Knowledge of Reward and People Development methodologies.
  • Experience in leading organizational change focused on talent management and culture change.
  • Effective HR partnership experience with awareness of business challenges.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret HR data for decision making.
  • CIPD qualification preferred or equivalent experience.
