Summary: The HR Project Manager / Consultant will lead HR activities within a business transformation programme, ensuring effective execution of the transformation strategy and governance of the people project plan. This role involves collaboration with operational managers and the wider HR team to deliver high-quality people activities while maintaining compliance with employment legislation. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to engage stakeholders and drive performance improvements throughout the transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution of the transformation strategy through operational managers.
  • Maintain controllership of the people plan, ensuring timelines are met and issues escalated as necessary.
  • Lead employee consultation and support line managers in HR activities aligned with legislation and best practices.
  • Act as a change agent, providing cohesive manager advice and upskilling as needed.
  • Produce documentation and ensure effective communication of activities and timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for process alignment and simplification in transactional processing.
  • Provide confident leadership that engages stakeholders in the transformation journey.
