Summary: The HR Manager role at a leading global professional services company in Central Leeds involves shaping the people strategy and providing comprehensive HR support on a Fixed Term Contract basis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Provide first-line HR support, advice, and coaching to designated client groups on the full life cycle of HR issues.
  • Manage the appraisal and salary review processes, collaborating closely with chiefs, directors, and line management.
  • Proactively assist in managing employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policy and employment law.
  • Monitor and manage absence issues, supporting client groups in maintaining a healthy workplace.
  • Drive talent management and succession planning initiatives.
  • Analyse exit interview data to identify trends and communicate insights to management.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures, adapting them to meet changing legislative and business requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider HR team and lead the delivery of specific projects.

  • Proven experience in an HR Manager role, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Strong client service skills and resilience when dealing with demanding clients.
