Summary: The HR Generalist role involves providing expert guidance on employee relations within an oil and gas operator in Aberdeen. The position focuses on ensuring compliance with UK employment law while fostering a positive workplace environment. The HR Generalist will support management and employees with policies and procedures, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance employee engagement. This is a contract position aimed at enhancing the company's HR capabilities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist advice to management and employees on collective employee relations issues.
• Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding policies and procedures.
• Review and update existing employee relations policies/procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices.
• Develop new policies as needed, ensuring alignment with values.
• Collaborate with PO network locally and globally to build awareness of policies and pending legislation.
• Support in the co-ordination of the UK Works Council to drive employee engagement.
• Keep abreast of changes in UK employment law and update UK PO network.
• Other ad-hoc projects or tasks as needed.

Key Skills:

• Strong HR knowledge (CIPD qualification or equivalent).
• Strong competence in Employee Relations.
• Experience in supporting offshore/operational teams in addition to onshore teams.
• Negotiations and diplomacy skills.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
