3 Month Contract

Based in Southwark, London, 2 Days a Week Onsite, 3 Days Remote

Hourly rate of 38.11 (36 hours PW) Inside IR35, VIA Umbrella

This role will work with the HR Systems & Data Team and key Operational Stakeholders across the Company to conduct a thorough and systematic review of a set of financial data which exist within HR systems, taking responsibility for providing advanced analysis and interpretation of HR management information (MI) and historic records extracted from various HR & Company Data sources to quantify liabilities and set out potential mitigation options.

This role is focused on a single payroll/data analysis-related task, and will conclude on completion of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Performing analysis of core HR & Payroll data to quantify the scale of liability which exists within the project

  • Process HR records and incorporate these into the dataset, to understand and evidence how the project liability is mitigated by past actions

  • To conduct line-by-line review of the dataset to ensure accuracy of data held with a view to minimise the scale of the potential liability

  • To produce reporting, in a range of formats (statistical, written & presented) to accurately convey the liability based on the scale of the project and quality of the source data.

  • Collaborating with HR colleagues and others to quality assure the data produced, to ensure it can withstand scrutiny from an external auditor.

Experience needed:

  • Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills with a preference for experience in the use of advanced Excel products (power query, macros, and VBA)

  • Advanced working knowledge of HR, payroll and pensions data

  • Strong understanding and experience of how to analyse and present data effectively

  • Significant experience auditing data, data cleansing and producing insights into large, complex datasets

  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to translate complex data and analytical concepts into clear business language to senior stakeholders

  • Experience of project management principles

  • HR data analysis and insights experience, ideally with Spinifex and SAP
