Summary: The HR Advisor role at a Halifax-based organization is a 3-month fixed-term contract aimed at experienced candidates with a background in operations or manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and close a defined number of employee relations (ER) cases each month within company and legal timeframes.
  • Implement strategies to reduce ER escalations through early intervention and proactive coaching for managers.
  • Provide training and development for managers.
  • Lead or support at least one project annually focused on optimizing ER processes, policy updates, or documentation practices.
  • Collaborate with the wider people team and stakeholders to implement engagement or culture-building initiatives based on employee survey feedback.

Key Skills:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience in a similar HR or People Advisor role.
  • Proven experience in an HR role within a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a strong focus on Employee Relations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving workplace issues.

Salary (Rate): £40,000
