Summary: The HR Operations Specialist role involves managing complex HR cases and customer escalations while contributing to process improvements within the HR service operations. The position requires expertise in HR technology and operational methodologies, with a focus on enhancing policies and processes. This is a one-year fixed-term contract based in Derby, requiring office presence for two days a week. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and the effective management of HR-related queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex HR cases including payroll, escalations, shift queries, absences, and flexible working.
- Manage complex HR cases and customer escalations from engagement through to resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring queries and developing new processes, automation, and standardization.
- Support the enhancement of HR policies, processes, and technologies.
Key Skills:
- Experience in delivering HR service operations.
- Good understanding of HR technology and experience with HR systems development and deployment.
- Knowledge of process management and continuous improvement methodologies in an operational environment.
- Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, and Excel.
- Availability for the full one-year fixed-term contract.
