Summary: This HR Advisor role is part of the HR Business Partnering team within a diverse Human Resources department that supports various offices internationally. The position involves building relationships with stakeholders, providing HR guidance, and managing operational HR tasks aligned with specific groups. The role requires collaboration with the Resourcing team and handling employee relations matters while supporting strategic HR initiatives. Candidates should possess generalist HR experience and strong communication skills, with a focus on fostering engagement and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and providing guidance on HR-related matters.
- Support business leaders in developing and implementing HR initiatives to drive engagement, performance, and retention, while identifying opportunities to improve HR processes.
- Collaborate with the Resourcing team to manage recruitment processes, from vacancy authorisation to onboarding, and support legal apprentices, secondments, and leavers, including conducting exit interviews.
- Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and flexible working cases, while providing benefits information and ensuring timely occupational health or income protection submissions.
- Assist with performance management processes, including reviews, training needs, promotion processes, and the annual salary review.
- Produce management information (MI) reports, analyse trends, and support the delivery of firm-wide surveys, identifying and addressing feedback actions.
- Lead or support ad hoc projects within groups, providing assistance to managers as required.
Key Skills:
- Graduate calibre and either part or fully CIPD qualified (not essential).
- Previous generalist HR experience at a similar level required.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrable ability to influence at senior levels; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clear ability to manage a complex and changing workload, flexibly and efficiently.

This role is in our Human Resources Team which is spread across our London, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Dubai, Dublin and Warsaw offices, and supports the business internationally. The HR Team is made up of various smaller teams including Learning and Development, Reward, Resourcing, HR Operations HR Business Partnering and the CSR and Diversity team. You will join the HR Business Partnering team and can expect to work cohesively with the wider HR Team, key stakeholders and partners within the business across people delivery, providing guidance, support and coaching. You will be aligned to our Paralegal and AG Integrate groups, where you will use your business partnering abilities to foster strong working relationships with the teams you work with. You will play a key role in supporting them day to day with operational HR tasks and work together to drive forward their strategic priorities.
