Summary: The HR Advisor role at Gunstones Bakery is a 12-month fixed-term contract focused on employee relations within a leading food manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for ER queries, take the lead to support Managers with Employee Relation cases, while assessing and mitigating potential risk
  • Develop effective on-going relationships at all levels, responding to queries directly and influencing managers to follow a best practice approach
  • Ensure the accurate monitoring and recording of the case management system
  • Support the HR team in the administration of the employee cycle processes ensuring that legal compliance is met
  • Support the Head of HR in key people strategy projects such as staff surveys and external compliance audits

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR role
  • Employee Relations experience is essential (absence management primarily)
  • Strong people engagement skills

About the Role
The 12 month FTC (Maternity Cover) HR Advisor at Gunstones Bakery Meal Solutions is a pivotal HR Generalist role, a great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor/Generalist looking for an exciting career opportunity within a market-leading manufacturing business. The role has a strong focus on employee relations, but also provides the opportunity to be actively involved in recruitment and other general human resources activities.
