Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain specialist knowledge on legal, policy, and best practice developments in homelessness and housing advice.
• Draft replies to MP enquiries and complaints across the Housing Operations Service.
• Undertake the S202 Homelessness Review Officer role and ensure compliance with statutory duties.
• Support Team Managers in managing team performance, including conducting quality reviews.
• Provide specialist advice and guidance to senior managers and colleagues on housing and homelessness issues.
• Support the management of temporary accommodation to minimize the use of Bed & Breakfast facilities.
• Manage arrangements with Eastlight Community Homes and other providers regarding temporary accommodation.
