We are a team of 60 colleagues operating out of all four of our offices (Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and London) on a flexible hybrid basis. We take pride in providing high-quality support to our clients, which is clear, user-friendly and responsive. The team's services include management of complex litigation in the Court of Protection, human rights, inquests, mental health, safeguarding, patient safety, serious incident response, complaints and disputes, HSE/CQC/police inspection and enforcement, education law, children law, challenges to decision-making in in health and social care and commissioning and governance.
The role We are seeking to recruit consultants, with experience in the work of our Health and Care Regulatory team, to join our consultant team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an excellent client base and experience high quality work but with flexible hours to suit you. Our consultants are self-employed and work from home with office support. They undertake a mixed of work on a fixed fee and day rate basis. This is a new way of working, for those who want to have the flexibility to choose when and how much work they do (depending on client demand). Please note that we would be happy to talk to any potential candidates coming from a more traditional role, who would be interested in transitioning to a consultant role, and our existing consultants would be happy to explain how the role works.
In this role and, depending on experience, you will be involved in:

What we are looking for from you Successful applicants will possess the following:
