Teesside Gas Processing Plant (TGPP) is an independently owned gas processing facility located in the northeast of England. TGPP is a highly efficient and flexible gas processing plant which has, since construction, been operated and managed to world class standards by the same highly motivated and proficient team.
The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer on a 3 month contract basis to support overhaul, starting in June 2026. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Plant tours/ safety tour.
- Conducting behavioural safety engagements.
- Investigation of incidents and near misses.
- Creating and delivering toolbox talks.
- Waste audits.
- Inductions of contractors attending plant.
- Be commutable with interventions.
Minimum Requirements
Proficient at using Microsoft Excel & Word
Good verbal communication skills
Relevant Health and Safety experience within a workplace, including:
- Safety tours
- Inductions of contractors attending plant
- Interventions, in forcing plant rules and documenting these interactions.
- Conducting investigations.
- Create and deliver toolbox talks.
- Conducting gaps analyses.
- Developing risk assessments.
