Summary: As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy and managing key accounts within the industrial electronics manufacturing sector. This hybrid role requires a strong leader who can develop a sales strategy, mentor a team, and foster relationships with OEMs across the UK. You will work closely with senior leadership to achieve significant growth targets while ensuring client satisfaction and engagement. The position offers the potential for career advancement into a Sales Director role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a 1-3 year sales strategy to achieve organizational goals of £8-8.5m with 10%+ year-on-year growth.
  • Develop and mentor a team of 3 Internal Sales Engineers.
  • Maintain and grow key accounts, managing approximately 30 accounts with a total spend of £5.2m.
  • Identify and target new OEMs in relevant sectors.
  • Collaborate with production, operations, and design teams to communicate capabilities to clients.
  • Work with Marketing to develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan.
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers in target clients.

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record of commercial success in a sales leadership role, ideally in contract electronics manufacturing or technical sales.
  • Experience managing a sales budget of £5-£10 million.
  • Ability to manage multimillion industrial OEM relationships.
  • Comfortable in a technical environment with problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on developing individuals.
