Summary: The Head of Legal at Triodos Bank will oversee the Legal and Corporate Secretary function, ensuring compliance and providing legal support to the UK management team and the wider Triodos Group. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight and management of local legal risks, including identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Providing in-house legal support to the TBUK business and Group Legal team.
• Managing TBUK’s relationship with external legal counsel.
• Keeping abreast of legal developments impacting TBUK and maintaining legal awareness across the business.
• Responsible for the Company Secretarial function, ensuring corporate governance arrangements are in place.
• Providing effective budgetary control and efficiency.

Key Skills:

• Senior level qualified lawyer with 10+ years PQE, preferably at partner/legal director level or equivalent.
• Strong leadership experience managing a small team and working autonomously.
• Specialist UK legal experience in Financial Regulatory or Financial Services.
• Knowledge of UK corporate governance frameworks and Senior Managers regime.
• Strategic knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations and European financial sector regulations.
• Experience in corporate transaction structuring, commercial law, and data privacy.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage legal risks effectively.
