Summary: The Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting will lead the financial setup of a new public sector subsidiary, establishing robust structures and governance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial setup of a new public sector subsidiary, including systems, policies, and controls.
  • Design and implement financial reporting frameworks and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, FReM, and wider external reporting requirements.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, including the Senior Manager, Tax Manager, and external auditors.
  • Provide leadership and direction to establish a best-in-class financial reporting function.
  • Draft technical accounting papers and briefing materials for senior decision-makers.

Key Skills:

  • ACA-qualified accountant (or equivalent), with strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
