Summary: The role of Group Accountant involves a long-term contract with a prominent business, requiring an experienced finance professional to deliver results in a dynamic environment. The position is based in Leeds and offers hybrid working arrangements for a duration of 18 to 24 months. Key responsibilities include producing reconciled accounts, supporting finance projects, and coordinating with auditors, among other tasks. The salary ranges from £55,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce reconciled monthly and year-end accounts.
• Support with central finance tasks/projects such as vehicle leasing, utilities, and Capex analysis.
• Provide strong technical accounting input in terms of IFRS and FRS102.
• Assist with quarterly external IFRS SAP reporting.
• Support and develop reporting systems to assist local management and streamline reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors (both internal and external) and assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.

Key Skills:

• Experience in finance and accounting.
