Summary: The Global Supply Chain Project Manager will lead the deployment of capabilities and continuous improvement efforts within the Global Supply Chain, ensuring the realization of strategic goals. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to operationalize strategies and manage tactical elements of project execution. The manager will leverage digital tools to enhance processes and data accuracy while driving system adoption and compliance. The position requires a strong background in supply chain management and project leadership, with a focus on capability deployment across people, processes, technology, and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for capability deployment specific to the project scope, including People, Process, Technology, and Data.
- Accountable for initial documentation generation to support change management and business realization.
- Drives system adoption, supports configuration, UAT, and analytics integration at the hub level.
- Implements governance practices and ensures process compliance and feedback loops.
- Leads tactical integration of frameworks and process changes within the hub.
- Develops local talent and runs training sessions to ensure readiness.
- Gathers frontline feedback and works with stakeholders to improve user experience.
- Tracks and reports operational KPIs in alignment with global definitions.
- Leads change execution and manages stakeholder resistance.
- Provides process expertise and ensures accuracy of business process models.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

- Proven success in optimizing Demand Forecasting and planning within S&OP/S&OE frameworks.

- Proficient in digital tools and advanced planning tools.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification desired.
- Understanding of cGMP, FDA, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in Biotech/Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

Global Supply Chain Project Manager
Location: Uxbridge (Hybrid working)

Position Summary:
- The Global Demand and S&OP Capability (GCL) leads deploying capabilities and larger continuous improvement efforts enabling Global Supply Chain (GSC) to deliver on its strategic goals.
- The GCL has provides program and project leadership for specific elements of the overall capability roadmap, ensuring realization of results and business benefits.
- The GCL collaborates with various stakeholders, including GSC Pillars, IT, finance, and other GCLs, executing and operationalizing the strategy within specific workstreams, regions, or projects. Has decision rights for for tactical elements (not strategic) within project execution.
- The GCL leverages digital tools and technologies to streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and drive innovation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- The GCL is responsible for capability deployment specific to the chartered project scope inclusive of People, Process, Technology, and Data for their assigned area of responsibility.
- Accountable for initial documentation generation to support change management and business realization (note: Responsibility for generation may be delegated within team membership, i.e. Business System COE to generate Kinaxis documentation)
- Drives system adoption, supports configuration, UAT, and drives analytics integration at the hub level
- Implements governance practices locally and ensures process compliance and feedback loops to owner. Provides project updates to keep leadership informed of progress and risks.
- Leads tactical integration of frameworks and process changes within the hub (e.g., pilot rollout, Training documents. Playbooks etc.)
- Develops local talent, runs training, playbooks, and ensures readiness at the hub level
- Gathers frontline feedback, tests usability, runs surveys/voice of the customer on business needs and works with Owner to improve process-user experience
- Tracks and reports operational KPIs in alignment with global definitions. Development of metric/KPI specific to project scope for realization/sustainment
- Leads change execution: champions adoption, manages stakeholder resistance, runs readiness sessions.
- Provides process expertise, as required, and ensures accuracy of accompanying business process models within their capability deployment scope.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining robust governance and data integrity.
Additional professional and personal requirements:
- Proven success in supporting and understanding of optimizing Demand Forecasting and planning within the S&OP/S&OE frameworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of multiple supply chain processes/capabilities, with a solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and their interdependencies.
- Leads the implementation of new digital tools and technologies within their department, ensuring seamless integration and adoption. Can articulate the business value and ROI of these digital investments.
- Inform and influence decision making at governance and departmental level.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Identify and implement approaches at program and workstream level to develop and reward high functioning cross-functional teams.
- Lead scenario analysis to manage potential impact on plans and timelines and recommend changes in strategic direction to stakeholders.
Education:
- B.S. or BA in supply chain, management, technical field (biotechnology, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, engineering or related disciplines) or data science; a Masters or MBA preferred.
- Advanced certification in Supply Chain Management preferred (e.g. APICS CSCP/ CPIM).
- Operational excellence experience (Green/Black belt or equivalent) preferred.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
- Diverse experience in supply chain functions highly desired.
- Experience leading projects with high performing and cross functional teams.
- Ability to navigate organization dynamics and lead cross-functional project teams.
- Financial management exposure, awareness, and acumen.
- Stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in digital tools and systems using and deploying advanced planning tools (e.g. SAP IBP, Kinaxis, AERA, OMP, Power BI, Tableau).
- Lean/ Six Sigma certification desired
- Understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements.
- Exposure and experience in Biotech / Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, principles and practices.
