Summary: The Gas Service and Repair Engineer role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing gas systems and appliances for clients on a subcontract basis. The position requires a qualified engineer with at least two years of experience and specific gas qualifications. The successful candidate will work within a guaranteed local radius and will receive a full van stock and weekly pay. A commitment of at least three days per week is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, diagnose, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems are working efficiently and meet safety standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
• Maintain good communication with clients and team members

Key Skills:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
• Own van
• Own tools
• Full UK driving license
• Clean DBS
