Your new role
As a Freelance Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of civil engineering projects from procurement through to final account. Your duties will include:
- Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and valuations
- Monitoring project costs and reporting on commercial performance
- Managing change control and variations
- Liaising with site teams and clients to ensure accurate cost reporting
- Supporting the project team with contractual and commercial advice
This role is site-based with flexibility depending on project requirements.
