Freelance Project Manager

Summary: The Freelance Project Manager will oversee utility diversion projects for a Tier One Contractor involved in HS2 and civil engineering. Responsibilities include financial forecasting, project cost monitoring, and maintaining construction programmes. The role requires a blend of office and on-site work, focusing on utility diversions for water, gas, and telecommunications. Candidates must have relevant management experience and certifications to succeed in this long-term contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce financial forecasts and monitor project costs.
• Develop and maintain construction programmes.
• Ensure detailed site diaries and records are completed.
• Review progress, budget resources, and forward planning.

Key Skills:

• Experience in utility diversion projects (water, gas, telecoms).
• Valid Black CSCS Card and SMSTS certification.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and risk management.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts.
• Excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
