Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in fundraising in conjunction with the appointed corporate finance house
- Involvement in capex and organic growth decision making
- Leading the finance team on financial controls and operations
- Developing a robust reporting structure, developing KPIs and board and investor reporting
- Cashflow and financial modelling
- Providing strategic advice and analysis
- Acting as a trusted advisor and ‘right hand’ to the owners
Key Skills:
- Strong commercial awareness and an ability to operate directly with clients
- Significant financial experience from a blue-chip background
- A finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA

Our clients We are specifically set-up to serve start-ups, scale-ups and high-growth businesses. One of our clients is a clients is an innovative high performance materials business primarilty serving with automotive, energy and aerospace sectors. With customers now on board – they are going through a fund raising round to roll-out production and scale. We are therefore currently looking to add a Fractional CFO to our panel with experience in automotive, aerospace and/or chemicals.
In addition to this the ideal candidate will demonstrate a number of the following: Strong commercial awareness and an ability to operate directly with clients; Significant financial experience from a blue-chip background; A finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA; A willingness to get involved at all levels - an ability to shift between the details/ process and the high-level strategic is key; and Previous FD/CFO experience.
The role The assignment will be on a temporary and fractional basis around 4 days per month. The assignment will involve taking the lead on financial matters and vary depending on the needs of the business at the time but will likely include:
- Assisting in fundraising in conjunction with the appointed corporate finance house;
