Summary: The Food & Beverage Operations Manager at Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels is responsible for overseeing service standards and operational excellence across all dining venues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example in all outlets to assess and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure consistency in food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback, implementing action plans for improvement.
  • Work closely with the culinary team for seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to restaurant and venue managers.
  • Design and deliver structured training programs to enhance service excellence and guest engagement.
  • Support managers in optimizing labor costs, inventory control, and operational budgets.
  • Assist in driving revenue through upselling initiatives and special promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel brand standards.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of food and beverage management experience in a 4* hotel or high-end restaurant setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring and developing teams.
  • Hands-on operational experience in both restaurant and bar environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and hospitality best practices.
  • Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends to suit business needs.
