Summary: The Financial Systems Accountant role is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Dorset, requiring candidates to be local. The position involves working closely with the Project Accountant to ensure accurate financial data reconciliation and reporting. Ideal candidates will possess strong financial systems experience and analytical skills, with a focus on collaboration and detail-oriented tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with budget uploads and actuals forecasts in the group reporting software.
• Supporting the integration of new financial systems into the budgeting tool.
• Contributing to the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end reports.
• Assisting with audit requirements and external reporting tasks.
• Helping to automate the group consolidation process.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting issues within Workday Adaptive.
• Supporting the Fixed Asset Reporting Team with asset reviews, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Key Skills:

• Experience implementing and working with financial systems.
• Confidence in handling financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory accounts preparation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to navigate financial software effectively.
• Ability to manage fluctuating workloads and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with finance and non-finance teams.
• ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (part-qualified candidates will also be considered) or at least three years of relevant experience.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to Dorset offices as required.
