  • Identify and analyse high-risk indicators such as PEP involvement, complex structures, state ownership, and high-risk jurisdictions
  • Escalate high-risk matters through the appropriate approval processes, preparing referrals where required
  • Complete matter-level risk assessments, ensuring accurate evaluation of risks and mitigations
  • Maintain internal CDD, AML, and sanctions databases
  • Support the monitoring and improvement of compliance systems and controls, participating in project-based work as directed
  • Provide guidance on day-to-day AML and sanctions queries, helping colleagues apply relevant policies effectively

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-focused Financial Crime & Sanctions Analyst to support the organisation’s compliance framework and ensure adherence to regulatory obligations. Working from one of the client’s UK offices (Leeds, Manchester or Glasgow), you will play an important role in managing and mitigating risk, maintaining robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) processes, and providing essential support across compliance activities.
