Summary: Proclinical is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Cardio Metabolic Health (CMH) business in a hybrid role based in SE England. The position emphasizes financial reporting, dashboard development, and performance analytics, utilizing tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SAP. The analyst will work closely with the CMH FP&A Manager to enhance data visibility and streamline processes. Key responsibilities include developing automated reporting tools and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated reporting tools to track financial performance, operational KPIs, and business drivers.
- Create and deliver accurate monthly reporting packs, ensuring consistency across actuals, forecasts, and plans.
- Design automated solutions to improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Utilize advanced Excel and Power Query for data manipulation and financial modeling.
- Partner with the CMH FP&A Lead to provide financial insights on revenue and operating expenses.
- Support budget owners in understanding spend variances and improving forecast accuracy.
- Contribute to planning and budgeting cycles with detailed analysis and reporting support.
- Identify opportunities for process standardization and drive initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with ad hoc analyses, business cases, or project requests from CMH or Finance leadership.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and DAX.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Power Query; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
