Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with global teams to drive system implementations, resolve system issues, and provide training and support to finance team members in the use of finance systems and processes
- Monthly financial close and forecast planning
- Review and maintenance of General Ledger - systems policies, procedures, process mapping
- Preparation of BI financial data to Oracle
- Identifying and reporting variances
- ERP Sales Control account and BI Application reconciliations
- UK P&L and Balance Sheet schedule administration
- Preparation of year-end audit information
Key Skills:
- Solid previous experience in a finance role (min 3 yrs), with real skills around understanding and communicating financial systems and processes
- Strong reporting skills and proficient at managing large data sets
- Good understanding of GL maintenance and links with management reporting
- Excellent communication skills across all levels and cultures
- Previous exposure to a fast-paced environment, ideally within a large international business

The successful candidate will be liaising with a range of finance teams globally, forging excellent relationships and providing a valuable point of contact and source of insight and guidance across this innovative business. Key areas of focus will be monthly financial close, forecast planning and system implementation projects. You’ll be a natural with finance systems and will possess advanced Excel and analytical skills plus a solid finance background. You’ll also have a desire to gain a broad understanding of the wider business. Being able to communicate with a diverse range of individuals from different backgrounds and cultures will be key as you’ll be explaining systems and processes, partnering with stakeholders to identify and work through problems, streamlining and improving as you go.
