Role - Environmental Protection Officer

A local authority client of mine on the West of England are seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Officer to join their team for 6 months with a view of an extension. The primary responsibility of this role will involve thoroughly investigating, assessing, and addressing complex issues related to pollution, noise, and various nuisance problems. This will require a deep understanding of environmental regulations and standards to determine the most effective course of action. The role demands a methodical approach to problem-solving, including conducting detailed inspections, analyzing data, and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate issues. Given the technical nature of the work, experience in noise-related issues will be highly advantageous, as it will contribute significantly to the ability to handle complex noise assessments and interventions proficiently.
