Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with service providers and internal teams with the preparation and filing of annual statutory financial statements, monthly bookkeeping packs, and other compliance filings across the EMEA region.
  • Assist with the audit of annual statutory financial statements.
  • Help ensure all financial statements are filed by required deadlines.
  • Assist with maintaining the ERP statutory ledgers to ensure they adhere to filings and update with statutory adjustments.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) from a top 20 practice background.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Understanding of US GAAP is beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a multi-entity background.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience using Oracle is a bonus.

6 month contract – City based office Our client, a tech business in the City, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join them on a 6 month contract basis. There is the potential to go permanent. The role reports into the Senior Manager and will be responsible for supporting the Company’s annual international compliance requirements while proactively ensuring accounting processes are compliant with global policies and procedures, within an effective internal control environment. Key responsibilities of the role will include: Work with service providers and internal teams with the preparation and filing of the following across the EMEA region: Annual statutory financial statements, Monthly bookkeeping packs, Statistical and other compliance filings as required. Assist with the audit of annual statutory financial statements Help ensure all financial statements are filed by required deadlines Assist with maintaining the ERP statutory ledgers to ensure they adhere to filings and update with statutory adjustments. The ideal candidate will be qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) from a top 20 practice background. Strong knowledge of IFRS is required and an understanding of US GAAP is beneficial but not essential. Previous experience in a multi-entity background is required and string Excel skills are essential. Experience using Oracle is a bonus.
