Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close process and deliver insightful management accounts.
- Take ownership of key financial processes including month-end reporting and journal preparation.
- Conduct management accounting and variance analysis.
- Prepare VAT returns, including exposure to complex VAT scenarios.
- Manage stock accounting and inventory valuation.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls.
- Lead and develop junior finance staff.
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong experience in month-end reporting and management accounts.
- Confident with balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused mindset.
- Desirable: Experience in a manufacturing or goods-in/goods-out environment.

About the Role
As Finance Manager, you will lead the month-end close process and deliver insightful management accounts that support strategic decision-making. You'll take ownership of key financial processes including:
- Month-end reporting and journal preparation
- Management accounting and variance analysis
- VAT returns , including exposure to complex VAT scenarios
- Stock accounting and inventory valuation
