Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing internal controls, compliance, and group financial reporting standards
  • Providing key financial insights and recommendations to the General Manager and group stakeholders
  • Ensuring the company’s legal and statutory obligations are met, including Company Secretary duties
  • Managing the monthly close process, including reconciliations and payroll checks
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Overseeing the accuracy of cost centre allocations and customer/product margin analysis
  • Leading and supporting an offshore finance team
  • Liaising with auditors and preparing statutory accounts
  • Ensuring tax compliance across VAT, Corporation Tax, and other regulatory requirements

Key Skills:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong technical accounting expertise
  • Prior experience in manufacturing
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Confident grasp of ERP systems
  • Ability to manage reporting in a matrixed environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
