Summary: Altum Consulting is looking for an immediately available Finance Manager for a 12-month contract with an international media company based in central London. The role involves overseeing the monthly and quarterly financial closes in compliance with US GAAP and requires a candidate with a Big 4 audit background and strong financial reporting experience. The position demands collaboration with both domestic and international teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries and corporate reporting submissions.
- Partner with domestic and international operating companies to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Prepare, analyse, and review monthly balance sheet packs with insightful commentary.
- Own reporting of brand and central P&Ls, including forecasting, planning, and ad hoc analysis where required.
- Maintain accounting for key brands.
- Support process improvements and ad hoc finance projects.
Key Skills:
- Immediately available to start.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), trained in a Big 4 audit firm.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with exposure to US GAAP and complex consolidations.

The ideal candidate will bring a Big 4 audit background combined with strong post-qualified experience in financial reporting and controllership.
