Summary: The role of Finance Business Partner involves providing commercial insight and strategic decision-making support within a fast-growing international e-commerce business. The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Head of Finance and will be instrumental in shaping financial strategy and operational excellence during a phase of transformation and expansion. Strong communication skills and the ability to identify and implement improvements in financial processes are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a key advisor to the Group by delivering financial insight and data to continuously challenge assumptions.
  • Influencing and driving actions across both capital (CAPEX) and operational (OPEX) investments.
  • Working closely with business units to uncover key insights and identify emerging trends.
  • Challenging budget holders and translating complex financial data into clear, actionable operational outcomes.
  • Partnering with senior leadership to define, develop, and refine relevant KPIs for the business.
  • Providing financial insight to support informed, strategic decision-making.
  • Developing robust processes to ensure KPIs are accurately calculated, consolidated, and used to drive performance.
  • Modelling new scenarios and investment opportunities to support business growth and resource allocation.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner within a large, international organisation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate outputs.
  • A natural ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels; confident, credible, and engaging in cross-functional environments.
  • Highly adaptable, with the ability to hit the ground running and add value from day one.

Partner Financial is collaborating with a fast-growing international e-commerce business. As the company enters an exciting phase of transformation and expansion into new territories, they are seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to provide commercial insight and help drive strategic decision-making within the finance function. Reporting directly to the Commercial Head of Finance, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping financial strategy and ensuring operational excellence. This individual must be confident communicating across all levels of the business, with a strong ability to identify inefficiencies in financial and operational processes and implement impactful improvements.
