Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver monthly management reporting to support business line profitability
- Build and maintain monthly MI packs, including variance analysis and control checks
- Conduct ad-hoc forecasting, scenario planning, and value driver analysis
- Partner with key stakeholders to provide insights and explain financial performance
- Support the development of a strong control environment across finance functions
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in financial and management reporting
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Ability to build and maintain robust control environments
- Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret business drivers and identify risks/opportunities
- Experience working with banking or financial services P&L and balance sheets
- Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and accessible manner
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to cross-functional teamwork
- Experience with VBA, Macros, and SQL (desirable)
