Summary: The Finance Business Partner – Digital at JD Group will play a crucial role in supporting the Digital Centre of Excellence by providing financial analysis and insights to enhance online performance. This position involves collaborating with various digital teams to ensure financial considerations are integrated into decision-making processes. The role also includes managing digital cost lines and reporting key performance indicators to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial finance and experience in the digital sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial support to the Associate Director Digital and Head of Business Partnering on Digital priorities and investments.
  • Deliver financial analysis and strategic insights to drive successful business outcomes within the Digital Centre of Excellence.
  • Support the Product roadmap for web, app, and in-store technology, ensuring commercial value is reflected in plans.
  • Understand and manage the in-store technology roadmap and costs to enhance the digital experience.
  • Collaborate with digital technology leaders on forecasting digital technology spend across divisions.
  • Support the development of the customer data strategy and associated costs.
  • Provide commercial support during procurement contract negotiations and streamline supplier base.
  • Own key business cases for digital initiatives and track program/project progress against strategic goals.
  • Work closely with the operational finance team for month-end reporting and better forecasting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Commercial Finance and across the Finance function.

Key Skills:

  • 5 years+ CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant.
  • Experience in Commercial Finance, Business Partnering, or Business Analysis.
  • Background in e-commerce, marketplace, technology, or digital sectors.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize effectively.
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of positive relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues.
  • Positive, flexible, enthusiastic, and driven attitude.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
