Summary: The Finance Analyst role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Macclesfield, requiring hybrid working with one day in the office per week. The position involves preparing and analyzing monthly management information, providing KPI commentary, and conducting regular financial performance reviews. The successful candidate will collaborate with teams to ensure project financial performance aligns with guidelines and will report directly to the Head of Finance. Strong financial acumen and proficiency in Excel are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and full analysis of monthly management information, including KPI commentary and ad hoc reporting for the Head of Client Finance.
• Regular review and analysis of aligned financial performance.
• Conduct monthly meetings with teams to review project financial performance.
• Provide monthly standardized KPI reports.
• Create ad hoc reporting to aid financial monitoring and insights into financial performance.
• Regularly review projects to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Provide updates to the Head of Finance on performance and any arising issues.
• Review aligned entities' month-end tracking sheets, including revenue accrual calculations.
• Review and sign off on revenue journals and rebates.
• Review revenue to group reporting systems and sign off on Group Variance Analysis.

Key Skills:

• Strong financial acumen with numeracy/accounting skills.
• Competent in the use of Excel.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external staff.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines.
• AAT/Part CIMA qualified.

Salary (Rate): £45,000
