Summary: The Faculty Administrator role at University Hospitals Sussex involves providing essential administrative support to the PGME Faculty Administration Team, ensuring effective coordination of medical education training programs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for PGME training programs, maintaining communication with key LFG members.
  • Coordinate LFG meetings, including room bookings, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
  • Maintain accurate records and update databases related to trainees and supervisors.
  • Support the administration of Resident Doctors Induction and local teaching programs.
  • Assist with E-portfolios and assessments for resident doctors.
  • Provide general office support within the education center, including room bookings and handling inquiries.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with PGME team members and other colleagues.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with various staff levels.
  • Strong initiative and judgment in handling tasks.
  • Proficient IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Teams.
  • HNC or equivalent diploma.
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English and Mathematics.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills with attention to spelling and grammar.
