Summary: The eVTOL Aircraft Structures Design Approver role requires a seasoned professional with significant experience in aircraft structures design, particularly in airframe structures. The candidate must have Design Approver authority and a strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering, with a focus on eVTOL aircraft. This position involves leading design activities and serving as the technical focal point for projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Possess Design Approver/Signatory authority on aircraft structures.
• Lead design activities and act as Technical Focal for project(s).
• Develop airframe structure design engineering.
• Work on eVTOL aircraft design, build, and test related work.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements.

Key Skills:

• Design Approver Signatory on Airframe structure - metallic and/or composite aero structures.
• Excellent knowledge of Aero structures, Wing, Empennage, and Fuselage.
• Proficient in computerized design and analysis methods (CATIA V5).
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack up.
• Good experience with aerospace Composite (honeycomb) and Metallic materials and manufacturing processes.
• Customer-focused with the ability to establish credibility with internal and external customers.
• Fair understanding of stress analysis principles.
• Awareness of A/C industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements.
• Able to work to tight deadlines and customer demands.
• Desired skills include Dassault 3D Experience, Microsoft Office and Teams, and Product Lifecycle Management (Windchill).
