Summary: The role of Enterprise Architect involves enhancing data resilience within a Financial Services client's Data Resilience Team, focusing on preventing data loss and ensuring recovery from incidents. The position requires extensive experience in data management within the banking or insurance sectors, particularly concerning middleware components. The contract is for 9 months with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring 2 days in the office. The role is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Push the data resiliency agenda across the business.
- Analyze data flow from source to destination across the technology landscape.
- Identify and address data resiliency issues on middleware components.
- Ensure data integrity and recovery within the impact tolerance of Important Business Services.
- Collaborate on improving resilience in data management practices.
Key Skills:
- 15-20 years of relevant experience in data resilience within banking or insurance sectors.
- Expertise in batches, messaging queues, third-party data connections, encryption, data recovery & backup, data vaulting, and cloud technologies.
- Understanding of payments, cards, pensions, insurance, markets, trade & settlement, and customer journeys.
- Technical knowledge of FCA, PRA, EBA guidelines on operational resilience.
- Strong enterprise technical architecture background.
- Familiarity with Service Now and TOGAF.
