Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting provider visits and moderation activities
- Reviewing and validating marking decisions against national standards
- Supporting providers with guidance on assessment and quality requirements
- Producing detailed reports with feedback on assessment practices and learner evidence
- Identifying potential risks and areas for improvement in delivery and assessment
- Taking part in training and standardisation activities to ensure consistency
Key Skills:
- Significant experience within engineering or manufacturing, particularly fitting and assembly
- Understanding of technical education, assessment, or quality assurance processes
- Experience in assessment, verification, moderation, or training (desirable)
- Strong written skills with the ability to produce clear and detailed reports
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with training providers
- The ability to work independently while maintaining high standards and compliance
