Summary: The EMC Tester role based in Portsmouth involves preparing and executing EMC test setups while ensuring compliance with test specifications. Key Responsibilities:

• Able to prepare EMC test setup and execute the testing while ensuring test specifications are followed in correct order.
• Closely work with clients to understand points of focus on the testing and help investigate EMC test failures.
• Engage with EMC test labs on behalf of clients and ensure timely closure of test schedules.
• Formally log test setup, product conditions (before, during, and after tests), and maintain clear test records.
• Review EMC test results and provide consolidated feedback to clients on findings.
• Coordinate and work with the testing team, helping to maintain test facilities.
• Regularly monitor test equipment and report anomalies or faults.
• Familiarity with EMC testing equipment and standards for defense and aerospace.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently while dealing with clients.
