Summary: The Electrical Test Operations Engineer role is a 12-month contract based in Oxfordshire, focusing on executing electrical and functional test procedures for a leading Defence and Aerospace company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of Electrical and Functional test procedures on Engineering test benches and flight spacecraft
  • Use of the Central Checkout System (CCS), Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Spacecraft Check Out Equipment (SCOE) to support the test activities
  • Validation of test aids, breakout boxes, cables etc.
  • Test procedure updates, raising work orders, test reports, and other test documentation
  • Support in the development and debug of Automatic Test procedures (ATP) using a bespoke high-level Software language
  • Supporting electrical integration, automated and manual tests at unit, subsystem & system level
  • Spacecraft electrical test and support during environmental test and launch activities
  • Support in the design and manufacture of electrical test aids, preparing drawings and manufacturing packs
  • Support in the day-to-day running of the department with tasks such as test equipment recall for calibration, test campaign logistics, and possibly export rating

You will be involved in:

  • Execution of Electrical and Functional test procedures on Engineering test benches and flight spacecraft
